163.  WHAT IS WITCHCRAFT? Witchcraft is using the powers of darkness for gain or pleasure.  There are many, many people in the world that use witchcraft.  In the USA witchcraft is used very much as well.  Astrology, which is fortunetelling by the stars, sun, moon, planets, etc. or as the Holy Bible calls it the "host of heaven", is one way that so many people use witchcraft.  See Deuteronomy 4:19.  Astrology is Satanic and is evil. Don't let any sap tell you that astrology is right and good for it is not because it is witchcraft and all witchcraft is evil and of the devil. 
    The Holy Bible forbids any person from using witchcraft.  Why? Because of it's evil implications with the powers of darkness and Satan who is the "prince of darkness" and is the "prince of perversion" and is the prince of all non-KJV bibles! The Holy Bible says in Deuteronomy 18:10,
          "THERE SHALL NOT BE FOUND AMONG YOU ANYONE THAT MAKETH HIS SON OR HIS DAUGHTER TO PASS THROUGH THE FIRE, OR THAT USETH DIVINATION, OR AN OBSERVER OF TIMES, OR AN ENCHANTER, OR A WITCH,
          OR A CHARMER, OR A CONSULTER WITH FAMILIAR SPIRITS, OR A WIZARD, OR A NECROMANCER".
    Also in Galatians 5:19-21 in the Holy Bible,
          "NOW THE WORKS OF THE FLESH ARE MANIFEST, WHICH ARE THESE; ADULTERY, FORNICATION, UNCLEANNESS, LASCIVIOUSNESS,
          IDOLATRY, WITCHCRAFT, HATRED, VARIANCE, EMULATIONS, WRATH, STRIFE, SEDITIONS, HERESIES,
          ENVYINGS, MURDERS, DRUNKENNESS, REVELLINGS, AND SUCH LIKE: OF THE WHICH I TELL YOU BEFORE, AS I HAVE TOLD YOU IN TIME PAST, THAT THEY WHICH DO SUCH THINGS SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD".
    Also the Holy Bible states that a person can use witchcraft for gain.  In Acts 16:16 the Holy Bible says,
          "AND IT CAME TO PASS, AS WE WENT TO PRAYER, A CERTAIN DAMSEL POSSESSED WITH A SPIRIT OF DIVINATION MET US, WHICH BROUGHT HER MASTERS MUCH GAIN BY SOOTHSAYING:
          THE SAME FOLLOWED PAUL AND US, AND CRIED, SAYING, THESE MEN ARE THE SERVANTS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, WHICH SHEW UNTO US THE WAY OF SALVATION.
          AND THIS DID SHE MANY DAYS. BUT PAUL, BEING GRIEVED, TURNED AND SAID TO THE SPIRIT, I COMMAND THEE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST TO COME OUT OF HER. AND HE CAME OUT THE SAME HOUR.
          AND WHEN HER MASTERS SAW THAT THE HOPE OF THEIR GAINS WAS GONE, THEY CAUGHT PAUL AND SILAS, AND DREW THEM INTO THE MARKETPLACE UNTO THE RULERS.
          AND BROUGHT THEM TO THE MAGISTRATES, SAYING, THESE MEN, BEING JEWS, DO EXCEEDINGLY TROUBLE OUR CITY,
          AND TEACH CUSTOMS, WHICH ARE NOT LAWFUL FOR US TO RECEIVE, NEITHER TO OBSERVE, BEING ROMANS.
    So we see in these beautiful verses of Holy Scripture that a person can use witchcraft for gain or pleasure.  Notice too that people that use witchcraft are possessed by an evil spirit and/or evil spirits.  Also notice that the evil spirit of divination cried and said that Paul and Silas was showing them "the way of salvation", not "a" way but "the" way of salvation.  "The" signifies one way and "a" signifies more than one way.
    Remember in Galatians 5:21 the Holy Bible says that all people who use witchcraft will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 
    In 1 Samuel 15:23 the Holy Bible says,
          "FOR REBELLION IS AS THE SIN OF WITCHCRAFT, AND STUBBORNESS IS AS INIQUITY AND IDOLATRY.  BECAUSE THOU HAST REJECTED THE WORD OF THE LORD, HE HATH ALSO REJECTED THEE FROM BEING KING".
